It’s important to note that nearly all red light therapy devices—including full panels, face masks, and handheld units—produce some level of EMF during operation. This is a normal byproduct of electrical current and LED output, not a defect.

The difference is in how responsibly it’s engineered and measured. AuroraBox is designed to deliver true red and near-infrared output at effective power levels, while keeping EMF well within safe, real-world ranges at recommended usage distances. Devices that claim “zero EMF” often sacrifice output, omit true near-infrared light, or rely on misleading measurement methods.

We measure EMF using calibrated electric-field and magnetic-field meters—at close range and at real-world usage distances.

• At very close range (0–1 inch), readings are naturally higher due to near-field behavior and fluctuating electrical load.
• Moving even slightly away from the device causes a significant drop in measured EMF.
• At the recommended working distance (6–8 inches), composite EMF levels fall toward what’s commonly seen in typical indoor environments.
