Healing light,
as protocol.
The complete reference for using red and near-infrared light to support your body — grounded in research, written for adults who want to actually understand what they’re doing.
Educational information, not medical advice. Always consult your physician before starting a new protocol.
Different wavelengths reach different tissues.
Not all red light is the same. Select a wavelength below to see how deep it penetrates and which layer of your body it actually reaches.
Twelve weeks, quietly rebuilt.
The timeline most people don’t see. Drag the slider to understand what’s actually happening inside your body week by week.
Continuous isn’t the only way.
AuroraBox pulses all five clinical wavelengths at selectable frequencies. Tap below to see (and feel) what each mode is for. Most retail “40 Hz lamps” strobe visible light only — ours pulses the full therapeutic spectrum.
Build the week that works for you.
Pick a protocol, tap the time slots you’ll actually show up for, and see your weekly minutes add up. Most Tribe members land on 4–6 sessions a week — daily consistency beats intensity every time.
Eight protocols, fully specified.
Filter by goal. Tap any protocol to see the exact wavelength, distance, session time, and supporting research. Every protocol is written for actual at-home use with an AuroraBox panel.
- Position panel 6–8 in from bare chest/torso, sitting or standing.
- Set to all wavelengths, continuous mode.
- Run 10 minutes. Eyes closed or goggles on if facing panel.
- Best paired with hydration and light movement within 30 min.
- Use 60–90 minutes before intended sleep time.
- Set to red-only (630/660 nm), 8–12 inch distance.
- Run 10 minutes on chest, face, or abdomen.
- Dim other lights afterward. Avoid screens when possible.
- Clean skin, no SPF, no serums — just bare skin.
- Position 6–8 in from face or target area.
- Run 10 min, goggles on when facing panel.
- Apply moisturizer or hyaluronic serum after.
- Cleanse thoroughly. No actives immediately before.
- Red wavelengths only (630/660 nm), 6 in from face.
- 10 min daily for 6–8 weeks to see the shift.
- Compatible with most topicals — apply after session.
- NIR-only mode or all 5 wavelengths; 4–6 in from joint.
- 10–15 min per joint — front, back, both sides.
- Daily for 8–12 weeks to hit the primary outcome window.
- Combine with gentle mobility work after session.
- Lie or sit so the target area is square to the panel.
- NIR mode, 4–6 in from skin, 12–15 min.
- Focus on the specific muscle, not just the general area.
- Follow with 5–10 min of gentle range-of-motion work.
- Within 2 hours of training, ideally within 30 min.
- All 5 wavelengths, 4–8 in from worked muscle groups.
- 10 min total, moving the panel if covering multiple areas.
- Hydrate and eat protein within the same window.
- Seated, facing panel at 12–18 in. Eyes closed or goggles on.
- All wavelengths, 40 Hz pulse mode engaged.
- 10 min in the evening, paired with quiet/meditative time.
- Not a substitute for any prescribed neurological care.
