1. Confirm you have new batteries in the remote.
2. Confirm the blue indicator called "RF" is set to ON (hold the Start/Pause button for 5 seconds after turning the unit on to activate)

The Pro Series is FCC, CE, RoHS, and LVD compliant, tested at an independent lab for conducted/radiated emissions.
The EMF levels are extremely low at normal distances. Red-only is sub-minimal EMF; Near-IR is minimal (slightly higher) due to deeper output of wavelengths + heat and irradiance-intensity which is very strong, but still well-within standard safe-levels of EMF exposure. Staying 6–12 inches away keeps exposure extremely low. Can even have younger light-therapy users stand up to 2-3 feet away for even less exposure, though effects decrease as you go beyond a few feet.
It’s a low-power sync bus that creates a network across panels to pair frequencies & rates. When paired, units share a timing clock so mode, intensity, timer, and pulse frequency stay phase-aligned, no drift as you add panels. Most red-light panels are standalone without this feature, so scaling up means each box free-runs and falls out of sync and can cause fluctuation in active therapy zones targeted.
Right now the AuroraBox 60 Pro or smaller models are going to need a stand or gripping system in order to hang it over someone laying down. This is something you'd have to visit a local hardware store to find sort of like a clamping or gripping mechanism.
We are currently producing our lay-flat models and they will have a stand that is compatible for this feature (to be released in 2026).
AuroraBox 60 Pro or smaller models do not currently have "holes" for screws on the back for a traditional lay-down red light mechanism/holder.
Our AuroraBox Pro Series panels are built to medical-grade standards, but technically classified as “consumer wellness devices” (not prescription-only medical equipment).
Our panels have the same, or better, light specs as clinical units: we use our own proprietary pattern of five therapeutic wavelengths used in photobiomodulation (PBM) clinics (630nm, 660nm, 810nm, 830nm, 850nm) at high irradiance levels.
- AuroraBox Standard: >129 mW/cm²
- Medical-Grade: >100 mW/cm²
Our panels are used in clinics nationwide already! Reach out if you are interested in expanding your Red Light Therapy offerings at your facility.
ABX60 and other models in development, are already being used by chiropractors, med-spas, recovery centers, and wellness clinics as a professional-grade light source.
You can safely use the AuroraBox around your face, but you shouldn’t stare directly into it, since it’s far brighter than the low-level devices used in eye studies. If you’re facing the panel, it’s best to keep your eyes closed. For longer sessions (more than 2–3 minutes), we recommend wearing the blackout goggles for extra comfort and protection.
Depending on your model, your AuroraBox will have a fan that kicks on automatically when the NIR is also on.
For handheld models, there is no fan, but ventilation and we developed a system-shutdown to prevent it from overheating after each session.
Recommended cooldown period is 20-30minutes after a full 20min session for Handheld models.
Typically between 125-145°F you should be fine in range of heat/temp, as long as it's not consistently at this temperature all day long 24/7 (assuming the sauna would be shut off most of the day).
It can reach up to 149°F as well at maximum for a few hours, but it can damage the longevity if it goes beyond 150°F and is left in the sauna for an extended period of time over 150°F.
The panel would not break immediately, but will have excess strain on the fan and internal components, which can potentially damage the circuitry inside and will void your warranty.
There is a built in fan as well, which helps with cooldown phase after use.
Do not put any AuroraBox product that has side ventilation into a steam room or high humidity environment.
This product line is not water-proof or water-resistant.
We may have a steam room compatible model in the near future.
$250 Panel vs $1,000 Panels — how to compare them:
It really depends on the exact model, but here’s the checklist we use:
Real output at 6–12 in (standard distance that is comfortable): look for delivered irradiance and dose, not “on-glass” numbers. A lot of companies even at $1,000 will say a fake number of irradiance at the panel level (i.e. placing panel right up on your skin, which also does NOT spread specific wavelengths evenly)
Wavelengths that matter: a focused 5-band mix is better than cramming 8–9 weak bands (some competitors charge more for example like an "8 wavelength" panel which if it's not Full-Body, you likely don't need these extra wavelengths or blue lights which they include as it's just overkill and affects the more important wavelength bands since it kills even spread of RL/NIR) - this type of additional specialty bulbs drives prices up and is a gimmick if you don't need it.
Coverage & session time: similar face/torso coverage = similar minutes to target dose.
Certs & safety: FCC/CE/RoHS/LVD (we have these as well as in-house testing & calibration).
Warranty & support: we give great warranty timelines with Fast 7-Days-a-week support
Features: 3 power levels, timer, optional pulse, panel-to-panel sync (RF).
Build & noise: metal housing, quiet fans, low standby draw.
Typically, we are building each round of ABX models in smaller lots and each time we produce a new model the costs can rise depending on sourcing, materials, metals, circuitry/chips and bulbs that we place in each panel. When we are able to, we lower the price to help Light Therapy become more affordable for more people!

Did you order on a weekend?
Please check back on Monday Afternoon, it should be loaded by them.
Did you copy the correct tracking number?
If you did and it's still not showing any movement after 48 hours, please reach out to help@tundratribe.com
Sometimes, things go missing:
Neaby, maybe?
Maybe it's near your mailbox, especially if you use a PO Box please search nearby.
Wrong address entered on site?
It shows that it was delivered and you put the wrong address in, this is not a great situation and you'll have to call the carrier to schedule a different address.
Did someone steal it?
If your package shows as delivered, and there is proof of delivery, there is not much we can do if this happens. You'll have to file a claim with UPS or USPS depending on the carrier.
If you need more help please reach us at help@tundratribe.com
Order placed? Brace yourself! Tracking details will arrive into your email inbox in 1-3 days (unless it’s a pre-order, then they're just fashionably late).
And remember, delivery times are always up to the delivery company, even if we are paying for expedited shipments from Tundra Tribe, sometimes the carrier still is slower than expected and we end up taking the hit. Please don't think we are trying to slow it down!
